people i love the most
as i go through bianca's site (as per my sissy's recommendation), i was enticed by her blog titled people of my year for 2011. it did have an impact on me that as i read it, people of my own came into my mind and i thought that i might as well have my own list. these people are not the people only for the year but i will include them, if i may, for the rest of my life list :)
my dad has been my inspiration as always. if i may say,i am a lot like him, attitude-wise. he's the strict-you-don't-wanna-mess-with-him type of a father. i hated this attitude when i was young but it made a lot more sense now that i am older and wiser (i think).. his kind is the type of guy that i want to marry someday. :)
my mom: Teresita Soliman
my mom has been my strength. she always makes me feel loved even though we are miles apart. she cries when she knows that i am not in good shape. she makes it a point that i am well as always and she has given me a lot, even for the things that i did not ask for, well i think this is an inside job for all the supermoms out there (everyone can be a mom but needless to say, it takes a lot to be a supermom <and my mom is one of them i proclaim>). she is the best mom (i am talking for my two sisters as well), cliche it may be, but she really is the best.
my sisters: Ariane Gaye, Jazmine Mae and Veronica Joy
Ariane Gaye: my froggy. the one who keeps the family tight. i may be older in age but she thinks more maturely and she is my very own teacher (and she is teacher, literally). a living proof of strength and courage that she could do anything to protect us, her family. she was my nemesis then but age could really teach you a lot more to life and now we are closer than ever.
Jazmine Mae: our bunso. the happy-go-lucky-gal that could ease you up through hard times as you hear her never ending laughs. she laughs at and with everything and as soon as you hear her, it would be a sound of an angel. she gives joy to me and i am proud as i see her making her own way to the top. an example of true beauty inside and out, a fact that makes me a very proud sister. and btw, people says we look alike..hihi so much for being true blood sisters aye?!
Veronica Joy: my sister from another mother. she loved and accepted me for who i am, regardless. she has been my light and shelter for the long while that i have been staying abroad. selfless that she is, she gives without expecting something in return and in time i shall return that favor. she's been my sister, bestfriend and soulmate all in one but some things just don't last. though it was a rough road with her, she will always be a part of my whole being.
my bestfriend: Katrina Jotic slash Balanay..haha
she has been my inspiration after being a single mom. although we don't talk much often as we would like to, time and distance was never a hindrance to our friendship. my bestfriend since grade 4. the person who, despite everything that has gone through her life, always stands straight with each and every fall and smiles her way with matching pride and positivity as she goes her way through her journey through life. she may not know how much impact she has on me but she does, holistically.
my talkshit: Kenneth Rendy Claudio
my talkshit, yes, my very own talkshit. i've known him since April of this year, we've been friends for 4 months and he already made a big impact on my life. he is only 23, he may seem immature with all the carefree attitude that he resembles but deep inside he's one hell of a dude. more responsible than i am, he's already a husband and father btw, he taught me so much. a living proof that change-for-the-better is possible and that not all men are men, if you know what i mean (the stereotype). he's an inspiration and aside from my father, he's also the type that i wanna marry :)))
here's a few of my people of the year, the top 5, the people i love the most, the people who made and will make an impact in my life, my people for keeps and my people for life. follow through will be stated maybe at the end of the year. :))
